Lithuanian sample curation is a primary goal of FOCUS ASTRUM. Over the past six years, Focus Astrum has amassed a notable collection of local geological and mineral specimens, with a particular emphasis on astro-materials.

To achieve this goal, Focus Astrum has established the following objectives:

-  Conduct fieldwork expeditions to understand local geology, which has been historically shaped by glaciation periods.

-  Provide public services for the identification and research of suspected meteorites.

-  Collaborate with and donate to national research centers, laboratories, and museums to make valuable national geological finds accessible to both the scientific community and the public.

-  Implement an open-sharing policy for all curated samples, making them available to international research centers and museums to support and enhance research projects.

FOCUS ASTRUM seeks to forge scientific collaborations and facilitate knowledge and sample exchange with major national and international scientific institutions, as well as to establish mutually beneficial partnerships for scientific collaboration and material exchange with global research centers, universities, researchers, museums, and private meteorite collectors.
